Let’s go! Your novel is live, so now make it easy for readers to discover it. Sharing your novel on social media, with friends, or in relevant reading communities can help you reach people who are already interested in your genre.
Get your novel ready to share… Before sharing, make sure your public novel page has a good title, an attractive cover, the correct genre, a short, engaging synopsis, published chapters, and an easy-to-copy public novel link.
Use your novel's public page whenever you share it. This gives readers a direct path to your story instead of making them search for it.
You can share your novel through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, X, Discord. Reddit, and other relevant communities When possible, add a short introduction rather than posting only the link. Follow the guides appropriately for Marketing.

Share where your readers are
Different stories attract different audiences. A LitRPG may perform well in communities interested in LitRPG and progression fantasy. A cultivation novel may be better suited to Xianxia, Wuxia and Chinese novels related communities. A romance novel may benefit from romance and fantasy-romance audiences. Choose communities where your story properly fits and always follow their posting rules.
Don't spam
Sharing your novel does not mean posting the same message everywhere.
Avoid:
- Repeatedly posting the same link
- Sending unsolicited promotional messages
- Posting in unrelated communities
- Hiding your connection to the novel
- Ignoring community-specific promotion rules
Instead, create a short, relevant introduction for each audience.
Make sharing easy
Keep your public novel URL available so you can quickly share it whenever someone asks for a recommendation or when you find an appropriate promotional opportunity.
You can also share individual chapters when a community or conversation specifically calls for them and the relevant rules allow it.
Start with your existing network
Your first readers can come from people who already know you. Consider sharing your novel with friends, writing groups, existing readers, fellow authors, same or similar genre communities, and to social media followers
Ask interested readers to share the story with others who enjoy the same genre. Make it easy to discover your story, but let the right readers choose whether they want to read it.
