The Silver Tongued Devil

Matas is a roofer, not a hero. When a highway wreck and a red curve in the sky drop him onto the side of a forgotten mountain, there's no prophecy waiting for him—only stone, hunger, and a System that records his every choice instead of explaining any of them . Samhal survives because a buried crystal Heart keeps the worst luck off its people, quietly paying out Probability Debt so roofs don't fall and dungeon doors don't explode. Now that Heart is humming off‑beat, debt is coming due—and every "near miss" the System forgives has to be paid in blood or stone, somewhere, by someone. Drafted as a wall scout, Matas earns his bunk the only way he knows how: reading bad load paths before they kill someone and letting a hostile System wire more omen into his bones every time the village needs an "active participant." To get anyone out before the Heart fails and the rust‑choir of ten thousand trapped souls wakes, Matas will have to become exactly what this world fears—an honor‑bound Omen‑Step engineer who decides which debts get paid, and whose names get written on the ledger. The Runic Protocol

In a galaxy where high-tech colonization meets the primal forces of the void, survival is a matter of frequency. S-17 was born in the silence of a deep-space laboratory, a "vessel" forged through the cruel Evolution Adaptation experiments of the sinister Dr. Thorne. Augmented with reinforced bone density and a mind capable of processing infinite data, he was designed to be the ultimate survivor. But when he is discarded onto the surface of Xylos, he discovers a power the scientists could never replicate. Xylos is a world saturated with Aether—a primal, raw energy that flows through the air, the beasts, and the planet’s crystalline core. While most require years of grueling discipline to learn Vibration—the rare ability to sense and influence the Aether—S-17 perceives it instinctively as "ripples" in the world around him.

Lin Xiaoyu died smashed on a Shanghai street, phone still in hand. He wakes up in the body of a minor cultivation world side character, the sect leader's husband, three months married, and roughly one insult away from being discarded to save face. The problem: nobody actually likes this marriage. Not the sect elders, who think their leader married beneath his cultivation. Not the leader's insufferable "senior brother" and one-true-love-that-never-was, who's very publicly still around. And especially not the original Lin Xiaoyu, who apparently spent three months crying in the west courtyard instead of doing anything useful. New Xiaoyu has zero interest in crying. He has modern day pettiness, a business degree, and absolutely nothing to lose. If the sect wants a trophy husband, they're getting one who slaps faces, flips tables, and much to everyone's alarm, including his own, slowly make the terrifying, emotionally constipated Sect Leader Jiang Heng fall in love with the husband he married for political convenience.

Odium Incarnate

Synopsis FBI Agent. Closet Sociopath. Giant. All of these words describe SAC Imai. A man - no, a thing, unleashed onto the word to exact his hate filled vengeance on the proxies of his suffering. Ready to use any means - legal or otherwise - to bring the criminal element to 'justice'. And not the hollow victory of imprisonment. He would bring the only true measure of punishment to greatest amount of people possible. Death - painful if possible. Not just in its physicality but in the sheer destructiveness wrought onto society expertly hidden from prying eyes. Combat. Manipulation. Murder. All key disciplines of warfare. A war fought by a one-man army in the shadows of US law enforcement. /// Introduction - Justice is truly blind, O.I. Hate. It is powerful - it endures the longest amid the dying stars of human emotion. Hate. Utter contempt for one's own race. How far would someone go. How terrible their resolve. How deep the machinations. To extract their revenge - satiate that cool fire - against the object of that burning hate. What heights would such a being reach - when they abhor the sky that hangs overhead and the earth beneath their feet. Their weakness shackles them. Their humanity binds them. Not a wildfire, no, it would be slow. Painful. Equal. An instrument of justice become odium incarnate. A grudge so deep it would consume the soul. A predator unleashed upon ‘polite’ society. How far would such a being go? To make them feel true fear.
