Arcadia I

In his youth, Helix was drafted into the final war, responsible for 60% of all deaths in history. After fighting for over a century, killing people of all levels, from infantry to corporate executives and tyrants, he survived, returning home to find everyone he knew dead. With nothing left, he set out to eliminate those who destroyed the world before finally meeting his end at the hands of the monster in human skin who started it all. Arriving in the world of Arcadia with an ability to manipulate souls, he sets out on the path of power once again so he can protect his life and anything he comes to care for. Follow him on his journey through this vast world as he meets both friends and foes... and maybe even old acquaintances. This novel will have a lot of world-building, different power systems, fights, and death. Follow the protagonist on his path to strength, making friends and foes as he goes. The protagonist will be mission and power-oriented. I'll try to update one to two 2.3k word chapters every day

No one remembered where the colours came from or when they last lived without them. It just became a way of life. The royal descendants, spawns of Satan, were born with the power to manipulate most Colours. Born with the power to submit most to their will. However, in order to ascend and become true Masters of Hell, they were to conquer all Colours and pass the final Test. No matter the cost. Over the years, Satan himself lost many of his own children to the Test, but it was the iron law. It could not be changed. There were some whispers. Predictions foretold. A rare human soul, joined with one of Satan’s children, would bring an end to his reign.
