Ellis Ranger is a strange boy with an unusual gift of tasting people's emotions. After moving once again for the seventh time, he thought this would be his chance to be normal, but when a wraith attacked his new school, Ellis's desire for normalcy was shattered. Desperate for finding answers about himself and for an ordinary life, he joins a mysterious organization that swore to protect humanity from the unknown. As Ellis dives deeper into the world of monsters, he realizes that secrets won't remain hidden forever. Ancient horrors inch closer, forbidding magic resurfaces, and the thread between reality and nightmares becomes shorter.

Recurrence

Every crime tells a story. Every choice leaves a pattern. Every pattern leads somewhere. Arin Hayes has spent his life believing that nothing happens without a reason. When impossible patterns begin appearing beneath ordinary investigations, his search for answers uncovers something older than civilization itself. Some truths were never meant to be remembered.

A hypothetical story

Sixteen months ago, seven teenagers disappeared from their school, in broad daylight, without leaving any clue behind. A week ago, three of them came back. They are refusing to talk about where they were, what happened to them, or if the other missing teens are coming back too. Until Thomas decides to tell a hypothetical story. It is a ridiculous tale of world crossing, fantasy worlds, epic wars, cold castles, and quiet mountains. But his therapist is sure of one thing: the truth of what happened to them is there, woven somewhere in the stories. So she'll listen until she cracks the code.
