Gaia's Second Champion
Pulled from the River of Souls by a goddess, I’m given a choice: become her champion and defeat the enemy, or cease to exist. A second chance at life. Sounds simple, right? Yeah—no. The goddess is hiding something. The power I asked for? Not what she gave me. It was supposed to save my life, now it takes them. Yeah, that’s going to have consequences. My first friend? A Fae creature with secrets she’s too stubborn to tell, burdened by a past she regrets, and a punishment keeping her trapped between who she is, and who she used to be. Together we’ll fight, survive, and perhaps change things, and one another, if we live long enough. As we travel a world that doesn’t trust champions or Fae, the truth about the goddess’ struggle begins to unravel. I wasn’t brought here to save this world. I was brought here for something else entirely. This is an isekai romantasy, a tale about second chances and forgiveness, found family and the bonds that keep people together. It’s also about a fish out of water MC stumbling his way from one potential disaster to the next and the FMC who fights at his side. WHAT TO EXPECT : NO harem A romance integral to the plot Spice, mild to heavy, beginning in Vol 2 2 POVs Dialogue heavy, with fun banter Pulpy-style prose Updates M/W/F, large backlog, 60k+ new words/month.
