This isn't the otherworld I imagined
Mark always imagined being summoned to another world would lead to an incredible adventure. A legendary weapon, extraordinary powers, perhaps even a grand quest to defeat a Demon Lord, you know the usual. Instead, he gets three ordinary abilities, a mysterious book, and a kingdom with a rather unusual problem: its population is declining. As if that weren't enough, the summoning gateway breaks, leaving Mark stranded in a world he never asked to visit. Now he must learn to survive in a place where his expectations are practically useless, his abilities aren't quite what he hoped for, and the kingdom's problems may be far more complicated than they appear.
