By the Grace of God
After a mysterious book appears on his shelf, Konrad Weiss, a history teacher, gives in to a temptation he’d normally resist. He plagiarizes its contents, unaware that the book is a gateway to another world. And, unfortunately, finds himself dragged into that very world, a place of horrors, magic, and secrets hidden from mankind's eyes. In the age he now inhabits, history and mythology have become indistinguishable. In the year 2065, following the Third World War, Espers pursue the mysteries of the body through science and physical evolution, while Magicians delve into the mysteries of the soul and the Supernatural. Each has their own goals, but they share a common purpose of combating the horrors within the dimensional portals, confronting the unknown, as well as negotiating humanity's survival with the gods. And here knowledge is feared, forbidden, and sought after by only a select few. But as fate would have it, Konrad is what one might call... a seeker of knowledge.
