Five hundred years after "The Shattering" left a scar on the world forever, humanity lives in a fragile " peace " upheld by the cold, iron grip of the Rogue Capture Team (R.C.T.). Terra Umbral doesn’t care about peace. He doesn’t even care much about his own name. As a "Dragon-Killer" with a kill count close to a thousand, Terra is a chaotic force of crimson Ether and lost memories. When a routine heist for a mysterious relic goes wrong in Washington D.C., Terra becomes the target of a full-scale manhunt led by the R.C.T.’s most elite and most unhinged operatives. Forced to take along Dash, a naive sporeborn youth whose life he has already ruined.
