Tokyo never sleeps, but for twenty-three-year-old Mike, every day feels the same.
Living alone in a small apartment and trapped in a routine he no longer enjoys, Mike has long given up on excitement, friendship, and love. His world is quiet, lonely, and predictable—until a rainy night changes everything.
Under the glow of a fading moon, he meets Jessika, a spirited high school girl whose smile hides secrets deeper than the night sky. Their first encounter is anything but friendly. She finds him cold and grumpy. He finds her irritating and impossible to understand.
Yet fate keeps bringing them together.
As days turn into months, arguments become conversations, conversations become friendship, and friendship slowly blossoms into a love neither of them expected. For the first time in years, Mike begins to feel alive again.
But Jessika carries a secret.
A truth that threatens to shatter the future they dream of together.
As the moon fades from the sky, so too does the time they have left.
A heartbreaking story of first love, loss, hope, and memories that never disappear, The Fading Moon explores how even the briefest light can change someone's life forever.
Some people enter our lives for a moment...
Yet stay in our hearts forever.
