Dendron died a nobody. He quit jobs, avoided conflict, and spent his days doing the bare minimum. When a truck ends his unremarkable existence, he expects nothing at all.
Instead, he wakes up as a tree: rooted, immobile, and monumentally alone.
In a forest teeming with monsters, cultivators, and beast tribes, Dendron discovers he's been given a second chance, and a LitRPG system to go with it. He can absorb soul cores, grow spiritual fruit, and even parasitize other creatures to build a network of avatars. Soon, he builds a network of wolves, apes, and allies who see him as a mysterious merchant, a powerful tree, or even a god.
But being surrounded isn't the same as being understood. He is a reincarnator in a world that doesn't know his past. A tree in a forest of beasts. A creature in a world that fears anything it can't name.
And something put him here on purpose. Whatever put him here has plans for him, and they may be far more terrifying than being a tree.
