ABSOLVE: The Dark Horse

He was arguing that free will exists when the world ended. One move from winning. A stone between his fingers. His oldest rival across the board, insisting that nothing anyone does is truly chosen — that every step of a man's life was laid down before he took the first. Then the room skipped, and Shen Huang woke facedown in black water on a world that had never heard of Earth. He did not panic. He counted. Wrong cold. Fog the color of a bruise. A crowd above him, waiting. Two seconds, and he understood he was dead, and elsewhere, and here on purpose. The third second was the one that should have frightened him. He was interested. In this world, power is inherited. The Vashari are born holding it — fire that follows the eye, minds that bend memory, futures read like a page. Everyone else is Nuun. The empty. The severed. Cattle with names, herded into a drowned frontier nobody else wanted. Shen Huang has no power. He will never have power. He has something worse. He has four thousand years of a dead world's warcraft locked behind his eyes — every siege, every betrayal, every annihilation history ever recorded — and he has landed among a people who have never seen a single one of them. They will call him the Nobody. Then the general. Then the King of the Empty. And when they finally find a word for what he is, it will not be a title. It will be a curse, whispered in a language older than their gods, for the thing that moves without being moved. He has done this before. He does not remember losing.

The Arcane Guardians

If the machine of government is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then, I say, break the law. - Henry David Thoreau In a world where both magic and supernatural powers coexist, Felix Pagonis is a complacent but powerful psychic who is merely content with using his powers for himself. Despite facing blatant discrimination against his race, he leads a relatively easy life working as a part-time law enforcer in an elite task force: the Guardian Council. A reluctant Felix is dragged into a plot that may very well plunge their world into an eternal, literal hell. Shadow Emperor

Immensely powerful yet wildly down-to-earth, Xylan Miirak has never been particularly interested in putting up a front- even with the responsibilities of ruling his people. No amount of politics, bureaucracy, or public perception stops him from unabashedly being himself at all times, for better or worse. For the past ten millennia, he’s been able to keep this up, no doubt in part due to his quick wit and unmatched power and skill as a Level 7 Kinetic Sorcerer. Despite having to worry about ruling an interstellar empire, Xylan still has to worry about things like being a husband, raising his daughter, maintaining friendships, and generally finding time for a life outside of work. Unfortunately, his life is about to get a lot more interesting. Author's World [Transmigration, Magic, Author in His Own Novel]

I was just your average author, who struck gold during the pandemic with the debut of my novel "Fever War". But I made a mistake! "I made a bet." Dropped into a withering dystopia. A reimagined version of Earth after COVID-19, where some patients began gaining supernatural powers and magic. The future of humanity had changed forever. Wars were fought not solely with military technology, but supernatural soldiers fighting against each other. And then they came, aliens from the other world. And they were far better at using magic than all of humanity. War against aliens was not as simple as it seemed. Governments, secret cults, & ancient families all want one thing—Control. But I will control my own fate, I will ▮▮▮▮ this place and ▮▮▮▮. How? Because I wrote this story—I am this World's Author. --- What to expect: - No OP protagonist. As it takes time and training to become strong together with a very unique power system. This is the author falling into his novel trope, but with a twist. - No Harem, set in a futuristic 22nd century Earth filled with advanced technology and magic. - The beginning is slow as I am still developing my writing style. I am power-system enthusiast (Not LITRPG, but hard and logical magic system) kind of an author. So, please bear with me. --- This story is also available on RoyalRoad, ScribbleHub and Webnovel.

I Stole A Dead Goddess's Blessing and Now She Won't Leave Me Alone

The color of a Divine Core determines your worth—and Anadis Kalonis awakened the worst one possible. Anadis had wanted to be a Blessen since he was five. He trained for years, learned to survive dangerous situations, and studied the gods rigorously so that by the time he was old enough for the Awakening Ceremony, his chances of being chosen by a God and surviving the Blessed Trial would be nearly guaranteed. But it still wasn't enough. He got the worst Divine Core possible—kids with that core didn't survive the Blessed Trial. He also didn't expect his sister and his twin to awaken Divine cores, and far better ones than his. But what he truly did not expect in a hundred years was for a goddess to fall from the sky, one who supposedly died fifteen centuries ago. And get this, she wanted his brother for herself. And she wanted to kill Anadis. Of course she did… Finally, when the Divine Voice attempted to register his new Blessing, it marked him with something no Blessen had ever received: [Sacred Fault: Godkiller] What to expect: - Weak to strong (it’s going to take a while for him to become the strongest, folks) - Slow-burn romance subplot (he’s painfully dense—don’t expect fast progress here) - Action every few chapters with slice-of-life and progression in between (downtime matters as much as combat) - Creative magic system with litRPG elements. - Multi-POV (mostly Anadis, with occasional side steps) - Gradual expanding worldbuilding (the world expands as Anadis moves through it) - Long chapters (3,000 words average) - 200k+ words written and ongoing (this story will be really long) Read 10 chapters ahead on Patreon!

They Have Magic, I Have NexusGPT: Modern Warfare in a Fantasy Realm

In his past life, Vane built a god. He created NexusGPT, an AI so advanced that even with heavy restrictions, his treacherous business partner used it to conquer most of the world within decades. Left with nothing but betrayal, Vane died and woke up in a fantasy realm. He didn't ask for legendary swords, divine blessings or cheat skills. He just wanted his creation back. Seeking a quiet, peaceful existence, Vane tried to build a simple life—a quiet house in the meadows. But this world is unforgiving and the cruelty of empires and mages tore that peace away. Now, Vane is tired. Tired of holding back. Tired of chasing a happiness that the universe refuses to give him. Armed with an AI that holds everything from basic carpentry to quantum mechanics, Vane realises something liberating: if magic bends reality, then being freed from a world with rigid laws of physics means he can rewrite the rules of nature entirely. While arrogant mages waste mana chanting to summon inefficient fireballs, Vane condenses superheated plasma into blinding laser beams that slice through armies. Why match their cavalry when you can rain hellfire from high-altitude aerial bombers? To finally secure the quiet life he desires, Vane will build an unassailable utopia. If he has to conquer every kingdom, crush every empire, unearth the origin of mana and control everything under the stars to secure it, so be it. What to Expect: - Weak to Strong MC who hides his true power. - Academy arcs filled with intrigue and rivalry. - Ruthless, smart and strategic protagonist. - Deep worldbuilding with various races, politics and mysteries. - Exploration of ancient ruins and forgotten secrets. - Powerful intelligent enemies and grand conflicts. - Diplomacy, romance, and wholesome moments. - Epic scale conflicts including a Demon King and wars. - Programming to create advanced magical weapons and tools. - Angels? Reborn in the Mist

Jason knew how he was going to die next. He's been Yagura for a month now and there's a Tailed-Beast living inside him, he knew how he was going to die next. Nobody wants to die, not even those that have done it before. Navigating the world as Yagura Karatachi, Elite Jounin of Kirigakure and Jinchuriki of the Three Tailed Beast would be dangerous enough on its own but as a Kage-candidate for Fourth Mizukage, he's far too attractive for the likes of Obito and Madara to ignore. The true Yagura is destined for a near decade under Obito's genjutsu and his village the piggybank of the Akatsuki's plans. He can't let that happen and not just because he's caught up in it now. *** Allo, just wanna say this fanfic is my second go at envisioning a character in the position of supreme power; Kage. As Kages don't regularly do missions and violence often comes to them instead, there will be fewer fight scenes until Yagura/Jason begin to face the big threat to the Shinobi world. As such I'll mostly be exploring what *right* decisions Kirigakure could have taken and the challenges to those decisions post 3rd shinobi war, as well as trying to pre-empt Obito's Akatsuki with the current Kages; Onoki, Ay, Rasa, and Hiruzen/Minato. As an aspect of the fic, it will be very Yagura/Kiri-centric with other villages and characters having interlude chapters in between. I am taking this route because, well, it's interesting and I want to discover more of what Kirigakure and its Legendary Swordsmen could have been. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Extra's Path To Main Character

The story takes place in Ardenmoor – a continent where Mana flows through the earth like blood through veins. Every human is born with a Mana Affinity, a rank from F to SSS that determines their potential. Nobles hoard Mana Stones, elite academies train the gifted, and the strong rule absolutely. The world has a story. Specifically: it plays out like a novel, with a chosen protagonist, destined allies, legendary dungeons, and a final demon king. That story was already written once. Amaron Volg knows it by heart – because he lived it as an extra.

Beastiary's Theory Of Evolution

The Beastiary's Theory Of Evolution states "All Trash Creatures Perish For The Sake Of The Higher Ones, All Trash Creatures Serve The Higher Ones, All Trash Creatures Needs To Evolve To Survive." A THEORY that is believed of different races throughout the land of Ouroboros throughout the thousands of years the world has existed. Creatures of different kinds worshipped the Great Beastiary, believed the Great Beastiary, and idolized the Great Beastiary. That was how the world of Ouroboros existed... Until a Pale-Mantle Manul broke the rule. After experiencing an impossible murder case and was henceforth suspected as the murderer of his Master, three years later after the "murder" broke out, he was sent into a Locked Room where he would need to stay until he dies. That was how Locked Rooms are; prisons where prisoners are sent to... —With the exception of the Pale-Mantle Manul. Throughout this literature, you will follow the Pale-Mantle Manul as he traverses this corrupted world of Ouroboros, ruled by the Crown. He will explore different Locked Rooms, uncover the secrets of these Locked Rooms, and unveil the history of them. However, you will have to go through all of these with different kinds of tragedies and heartwarming moments happening along the road. Especially, a slight pinch of romance in the story. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- What to expect: - A unique and new power system based around Pokemon's evolution and Kit-based power system. - A new world that isn't just a globe with different geographies. The world is a circular serpent swallowing itself through different time periods. - Well written characters that aren't just one note. They all have their own motivations with their actions. They are flawed too. Especially the mc. Suprising right? - The main plot is about the unsolvable murder case. However, the story takes breaks from that sometimes. - Another interesting aspect is that mythology is an important aspect. Yes, the ancient mythology. Since, spoiler (well not really), one of the main character is transmigrated from Earth, which she will have an important role with uncovering the truth about these Locked Rooms. Some important Ancient Creatures (or what I call Divine Threads) are based off Mythological Creatures. - The romance is the best aspect. I'm not joking. You'll see. - I personally don't like plain character designs, so most of the important characters in the story will have some of the most beautiful character designs you'll read about. And yes, it's not only for aesthetic. It can impact their fighting styles and especially personality. - When you're reading it, don't expect it to end in a hundred chapters, or even two hundred. I'm planning this story to have atleast a thousand chapters or more. So, when you're reading, try to think in a larger scale. - Lastly, this story wasn't written to be perfect. I hate it when a story is too fast paced that there's barely enough time for me to have relationship/understanding with the main characters. This story can be slow, but each chapter will still push the plot forward. - I forgot to mention this. But the main theme of the story is your own WORTH. In this current time, with wars happening left and right, corruption taking money from different people, and the evil growing larger than the good... It's what motivated me to continue this story.
