Sulphur & Lightning
Osu. The word meant outcast. A creature lower than all his peers and set apart by the gods. The world of Reigina, disparate in its races and traditions, still maintained a universal treatment for such souls. Born into this world as one such creature, Elijah Brimstone must navigate the muddy waters of a society that despises him and unravel the tangled threads of his past that shaped who—and what—he is. Secret beings. Arcane texts. Mysterious metals. Who could sound the depths of such a world? Was he on a fool's errand or on the stairway to Heaven? WHAT TO EXPECT: Well-researched cultivation. Western alchemy. Authentic African folklore and culture. Cosmic horror Competent main character with clear limitations. Lots of action. Unique array system. Industrial age fiction. Sulphur & Lightning combines Eastern and Western Alchemy traditions with Nigerian and African folklore to present a story that's both familiar and foreign. Lycans. Elves. Cultivation. Sorcery. Clans. Castes. Everything you're used to in fantasy, and more.
