Self-Summon [Demon Summoning/Evolution litRPG]

Literal starving artist, Angelica Hallow, is suddenly hit on the head by a book while dumpster diving out of desperation. Compelled by the illustrations inside the tome, she recreates one of the intricate circles on the floor of her apartment. Ignorant of the forces she's messing around with, Angelica accidentally activates the magic circle and triggers a Summoning. But rather than any Demon or other supernatural creature, instead, she summoned... herself?! With a new voice in her head blathering about Skills and Contracts, and the inexplicable ability to give herself Orders that she is forced to obey, will Angelica be able to secure the peaceful life of artistry that she craves, or will she come to embrace the Demon within? What to expect: - A system made by Demons for Demons. Filled with unique and strange skills to explore, some of which don't always have her best interests in mind. - Steady progression throughout, even while still figuring out her situation and system. - Fairly lighthearted… most of the time. - Action at regular intervals. It’s not constant, but it’s never too far off. - Strictly Urban Fantasy for the first book. After that, the settings will continue to get more diverse and unique - Yuri tag will happen in later books, but not Book 1 Coverart by Slothbeing

Hunting Midnight

“The problems concerning demons and evil clocks began like many of my problems do: with a terrible wifi connection.” • • • • Alena moved to a small town to escape her past and start a restaurant, not to tangle with a demon. But when the monster messes with her wifi, ruins her roommate's date, and threatens to commit mass murder, she's forced to put her plans on hold. Impossible phenomena and a chaotic stalker lead her to a grandfather clock with backward numbers. The ghost inside believes she's there to help it escape, and offers to show her the world through its eyes. With one fateful glimpse, Alena enters a long entrenched battle for the sovereignty of the soul. Volume One of Hunting Midnight is part paranormal adventure, part urban progression fantasy. It delivers as much charm as it does creepshow, as many smiles as it does spooks, and introduces an unforgettably unique cast of villains and heroes. • • • • What to expect • Schedule: 3+ chapters per week, avg. 2,000 words per chapter • POV: Single 1st-person • FMC: Realistically flawed, competent, proactive, spunky, sarcastic • Progression: Vol 1 is soft-magic discovery. Vol 2 aims to explore an emerging system (light stats). • Tone: A blend of urban fantasy, horror, and thriller—with a dash of good humour • Romance: Low focus, no harem. (Minor mature themes). • Status: Volume 1 is complete at 111 chapters. Patreon = 20 advance chapters
