The One Punch Demon

Julien is a young high schooler and a self-proclaimed loser. Everyone's punching bag. His classmates bully him daily and he had been wishing to disappear because he couldn't take it anymore. "If this was a video game, I would punch all of them with a single punch." He thought about fighting back but never had the guts. But in video games, he was untouchable. Number one worldwide on his favourite game, ABYSS ARENA. He had few challengers and none of them lasted long. It still wasn't enough to satisfy him though. One afternoon after getting bullied, he logged on, took out a challenger in under a minute, then he was still bored that he switched to story mode. He had been using his favourite character, Sorin, a powerful fighter, strong enough to challenge Lennon, a boss who had proven to be an opponent Julien simply couldn't beat. He gave up and let the game run on its own. Lennon made his final move and sent Sorin flying into the sky. The crowd erupted screaming Lennon's name. Julien closed his eyes in jealous. ‘If only I was famous like Lennon.’ Suddenly He saw himself falling. He was inside Sorin's body, actually, he was Sorin. Falling from the sky, he drove one punch straight into the celebrating Lennon and knocked him out. Sorin stood victorious. Julien (Sorin) cheered. "Yeah!" But the voice that came out wasn't his. It was hard and deep. Instead of erupting with cheers, the crowd remained quiet. Then the system screamed. "ALERT. ALERT. ALERT. Arch Demon detected within the Arena premises. This is a Code Red. All defense forces, converge on the Arena immediately." He had been given a second life inside a fighter's body — but that second life came with a problem. He was a demon. The entire Varenhold State was now hunting him. He was saved by Clara, an elf girl who helped him escape and showed him the ropes of this new world. What Sorin didn't know was that Clara was on a mission. A prophecy had foretold the coming of a powerful demon — and the person who sent Clara wanted Sorin to become the next Demon King. When Clara found out the truth after bringing Sorin in, she refused to hand Sorin over. She chose to become a traitor instead. With her trusted team of girls by her side, they fled with Sorin. But the threats kept coming. Sorin's fiancée in another state had her own agenda. She wanted his power, and she was willing to become an enemy to get it. Now the whole world is after him. Arch Demons aren't allies to any race. Every faction wants him captured, controlled or dead. How will a boy who just wanted to beat a video game boss survive a world that was never meant for him? Shadow Emperor

Immensely powerful yet wildly down-to-earth, Xylan Miirak has never been particularly interested in putting up a front- even with the responsibilities of ruling his people. No amount of politics, bureaucracy, or public perception stops him from unabashedly being himself at all times, for better or worse. For the past ten millennia, he’s been able to keep this up, no doubt in part due to his quick wit and unmatched power and skill as a Level 7 Kinetic Sorcerer. Despite having to worry about ruling an interstellar empire, Xylan still has to worry about things like being a husband, raising his daughter, maintaining friendships, and generally finding time for a life outside of work. Unfortunately, his life is about to get a lot more interesting. The evil warlord Romulus has unleashed his merciless Kymaran hordes upon the Andromeda Galaxy, and Xylan’s people are first on his list. Apparently, he wasn’t busy enough already.

The Runic Protocol

In a galaxy where high-tech colonization meets the primal forces of the void, survival is a matter of frequency. S-17 was born in the silence of a deep-space laboratory, a "vessel" forged through the cruel Evolution Adaptation experiments of the sinister Dr. Thorne. Augmented with reinforced bone density and a mind capable of processing infinite data, he was designed to be the ultimate survivor. But when he is discarded onto the surface of Xylos, he discovers a power the scientists could never replicate. Xylos is a world saturated with Aether—a primal, raw energy that flows through the air, the beasts, and the planet’s crystalline core. While most require years of grueling discipline to learn Vibration—the rare ability to sense and influence the Aether—S-17 perceives it instinctively as "ripples" in the world around him.

A black coat draped over a white shirt, stained in dark, uneven patches that had yet to dry. Black trousers followed the same muted tone, blending him into the night as though he belonged to it more than the world around him. His hair was black, unremarkable at a glance, yet his eyes—sharp, brown, and unwavering—carried a quiet weight. Not exhaustion of the body, but something deeper, something that had settled within him long before this moment. Blood marked his clothes. Fresh enough to glisten faintly beneath the dim light, yet old enough to cling stubbornly, refusing to fade. The road remained silent. No footsteps but his own disturbed the stillness. No distant engines, no whisper of wind—nothing. Only a single street lamp stood above, casting a weak, yellow glow that felt… insufficient, as though it illuminated less than it should, leaving parts of the world just slightly beyond reach. And in that dim light— Something about the scene felt incomplete. Then, without warning, the streetlight flickered. Once. Then twice. Then irregularly, as though something unseen had begun interfering with its rhythm. The shadows shifted with it—but not entirely in sync. A fraction too slow. A fraction too late.
