A hypothetical story

Sixteen months ago, seven teenagers disappeared from their school, in broad daylight, without leaving any clue behind. A week ago, three of them came back. They are refusing to talk about where they were, what happened to them, or if the other missing teens are coming back too. Until Thomas decides to tell a hypothetical story. It is a ridiculous tale of world crossing, fantasy worlds, epic wars, cold castles, and quiet mountains. But his therapist is sure of one thing: the truth of what happened to them is there, woven somewhere in the stories. So she'll listen until she cracks the code.

The One Punch Demon

Julien is a young high schooler and a self-proclaimed loser. Everyone's punching bag. His classmates bully him daily and he had been wishing to disappear because he couldn't take it anymore. "If this was a video game, I would punch all of them with a single punch." He thought about fighting back but never had the guts. But in video games, he was untouchable. Number one worldwide on his favourite game, ABYSS ARENA. He had few challengers and none of them lasted long. It still wasn't enough to satisfy him though. One afternoon after getting bullied, he logged on, took out a challenger in under a minute, then he was still bored that he switched to story mode. He had been using his favourite character, Sorin, a powerful fighter, strong enough to challenge Lennon, a boss who had proven to be an opponent Julien simply couldn't beat. He gave up and let the game run on its own. Lennon made his final move and sent Sorin flying into the sky. The crowd erupted screaming Lennon's name. Julien closed his eyes in jealous. ‘If only I was famous like Lennon.’ Suddenly He saw himself falling. He was inside Sorin's body, actually, he was Sorin. Falling from the sky, he drove one punch straight into the celebrating Lennon and knocked him out. Sorin stood victorious. Julien (Sorin) cheered. "Yeah!" But the voice that came out wasn't his. It was hard and deep. Instead of erupting with cheers, the crowd remained quiet. Then the system screamed. "ALERT. ALERT. ALERT. Arch Demon detected within the Arena premises. This is a Code Red. All defense forces, converge on the Arena immediately." He had been given a second life inside a fighter's body — but that second life came with a problem. He was a demon. The entire Varenhold State was now hunting him. He was saved by Clara, an elf girl who helped him escape and showed him the ropes of this new world. What Sorin didn't know was that Clara was on a mission. A prophecy had foretold the coming of a powerful demon — and the person who sent Clara wanted Sorin to become the next Demon King. When Clara found out the truth after bringing Sorin in, she refused to hand Sorin over. She chose to become a traitor instead. With her trusted team of girls by her side, they fled with Sorin. But the threats kept coming. Sorin's fiancée in another state had her own agenda. She wanted his power, and she was willing to become an enemy to get it. Now the whole world is after him. Arch Demons aren't allies to any race. Every faction wants him captured, controlled or dead. How will a boy who just wanted to beat a video game boss survive a world that was never meant for him? Wisps of Humanity

Nine billion souls. Every species on Earth. One final, desperate Hail Mary. For three decades, an AI has tried to engineer a peaceful coexistence between humanity and Earth after preventing a human-caused extinction level event. Put into stasis, humans have all been living in a simulation. Every single test failed, poisoned by human greed, class warfare, and systemic exploitation. Now, the AI is pulling the plug, locking each of the remaining population into an interspecies territorial death game. Clark didn't ask to be drafted into the swarm, but it was another Monday morning to him. He had just finished his internship, only to find himself trapped inside a supermega world in a cyberpunk insect hive where basic survival requires mindless work and resisting mind-control broadcasts. He realizes quickly that the only way out is up, but three queen bees with some very human tendencies stand in his way to get to the top. To keep himself from becoming a plaything or worse, Clark needs to use all three of his now-separated brains to survive. After finding Aria, a reserve queen forced to work as a regular worker, and her two dysfunctional sisters, together they must build a plan in secret, and collect more allies. They have three months before the first Territorial Expansion of their shard happens, and they need to take down the three queens before the time runs out!  Welcome to the hive. Try not to die on your first coffee break. {P.S. There is no sex described or anything like that. All scenes fade to black. Also, Art of cover was done with Midjourney because I am poor. If the book does good, I will pay for a cover.} In this book, you will find: 1. BEES! Bees and honey are a huge theme in this book, so there will be tons of fantasy varieties made from plants from earth, modified versions, and a few fantasy ones! 2. Animal accurate traits converted into human-sized interactions. This will lead to some very strange things!(Not all will be perfect, but I will do my best) 3. Swearing. There is a bit of cursing, but I try not to drown the book in it. 4. All kinds of humor in the book, but mostly cynical. 5. Harem. Yes there will be a harem, but it is very slowly and naturally built, but more like Release That Witch, where he only has one romantic relationship. 6. Grimdark. While there is a lot of humor, the book still has death and misery, but anything uncomfortable is glossed over. Humans are like the shades of colors in rainbows, and not all are bright. 7. System Menus. There are some, but I don’t use stat pages, and try to use them sparingly or gloss over things that aren’t important and just explain quickly in narration. My system is a bit different than most, but similar in the ways that count. 8. Pop-Culture YOU TO DEATH! Lol, I love pop-culture! So, unlike my book, Epic of Bees, you won’t find many puns, but there will be a ton of references to pop-culture, mythology, Canadian terms, and real world stuff! 9. Romance. There will be some romance, and emotional scene through character building of each of the character since the are all so dysfunctional.  10. Fighting vs Negotiating. There will be lots fighting, epic battles, and wars, but it is very slow at first. Most of the first book is building a team to get ready to challenge the queens, so expect a lot of interaction and world building at the start.
