Origins of Blood

For thousands of years, the government lied, kept us hostage, and sold us unknowingly. Little did we know that these times would be the best for us all. The High-Bloods came through the firmament that veiled us in snow, and conquered everything. They shattered our false freedom, burned flesh from our bones, and feasted on us for sport. They enslaved us to be chained beyond Earth's soil—Hemorion, they call it their home. Now, we are forced into a society ruled by blood, where Kingdoms, slaves, and the deaths of beloved are as common as the light from Helios, one of their deities. Yet, whenever my eyelids close, I still see red—the light of us all stolen ... my brother’s and my own dying. But as my blood is red, my hope burns forever. I will kill them all. Note: this is a rewritten version of my already published first Volume, "Red Eclipse," of "Origins of Blood," and thus will be a revised edition with changes throughout the entire story, including prose, characters, worldbuilding, powersystem, and other elements.

The Vilainouss Duchess steals Everything

Da-young was South Korea’s finest agent. Accustomed to dangerous missions, betrayal, and death, she had nevertheless believed that she had finally found someone she could trust. But during her final mission in Afghanistan, the man she loved betrayed her and condemned her to die. As she drew her final breath, a single thought crossed her mind: “So this is how my life ends... If I ever get another life, I’ll never believe in love again.” But death was not the end. Da-young awakens in a completely different world, inside the body of Stella Von Thalion, the legitimate heir to a powerful ducal house. Stella once had everything a young noblewoman could ever desire: a title, an inheritance, and an important place within her family. But everything was taken from her. Accused of a crime she did not commit, Stella was humiliated before the nobility. Her own father refused to believe her. Her stepmother despised her. And her half-sister, Angelia, the woman who pretended to be sweet and innocent, gradually took everything that belonged to Stella. Her title. Her inheritance. Her place within the family. And even the man who had once been destined to stand by her side. Eventually, Stella was sentenced to exile, far from the capital and everyone she knew. But when Da-young discovers Stella’s memories, she quickly realizes that Stella was never the true villain of this story. She was simply the perfect victim. And Da-young refuses to suffer the same fate. Now, she is Stella. A new life begins. A new Stella—colder, more determined, and above all, far more dangerous. She also possesses something no one in this world knows about: her grandmother’s ring. A mysterious ring capable of summoning whatever objects she desires, though its powers still hide countless secrets. With her experience as an agent, her knowledge of the modern world, her mysterious power, and her newfound magical potential, Stella decides to completely change her circumstances. First, she will take back control of the Von Thalion Duchy. Then, she will reclaim her inheritance. And finally, she will bring down, one by one, everyone who played a part in her downfall. But Stella does not simply want revenge. She wants to build something that belongs entirely to her. She no longer needs her father’s approval. She no longer needs the Emperor’s love. She no longer needs the nobility’s recognition. Everything that was stolen from her will return to her hands. And while Angelia continues to play the role of the perfect empress before the court, Stella silently prepares for her return. Because this time, the former victim will not ask for justice. She will take it herself. They exiled her, believing she would disappear. They forgot one thing. A true villainess does not need to be loved. She only needs to become powerful enough that everyone is forced to respect her. I am Stella Von Thalion. And I’m going to take everything back.

The Silver Tongued Devil

Matas is a roofer, not a hero. When a highway wreck and a red curve in the sky drop him onto the side of a forgotten mountain, there's no prophecy waiting for him—only stone, hunger, and a System that records his every choice instead of explaining any of them . Samhal survives because a buried crystal Heart keeps the worst luck off its people, quietly paying out Probability Debt so roofs don't fall and dungeon doors don't explode. Now that Heart is humming off‑beat, debt is coming due—and every "near miss" the System forgives has to be paid in blood or stone, somewhere, by someone. Drafted as a wall scout, Matas earns his bunk the only way he knows how: reading bad load paths before they kill someone and letting a hostile System wire more omen into his bones every time the village needs an "active participant." To get anyone out before the Heart fails and the rust‑choir of ten thousand trapped souls wakes, Matas will have to become exactly what this world fears—an honor‑bound Omen‑Step engineer who decides which debts get paid, and whose names get written on the ledger. After a mysterious book appears on his shelf, Konrad Weiss, a history teacher, gives in to a temptation he’d normally resist. And, unfortunately, finds himself dragged into that very world, a place of horrors, magic, and secrets hidden from mankind's eyes. In the age he now inhabits, history and mythology have become indistinguishable. In the year 2065, following the Third World War, Espers pursue the mysteries of the body through science and physical evolution, while Magicians delve into the mysteries of the soul and the Supernatural. Each has their own goals, but they share a common purpose of combating the horrors within the dimensional portals, confronting the unknown, as well as negotiating humanity's survival with the gods. And here knowledge is feared, forbidden, and sought after by only a select few. But as fate would have it, Konrad is what one might call... a seeker of knowledge.
