BLOOD AND SHADOWS

His name is Damien Voss Callahan. Lord of the Nightfall Court — the most feared vampire clan in the immortal world. Cold. Calculating. Ruthless beyond measure. He commands armies with a glance and ends centuries-old feuds with a whisper. He has lived five hundred years without once feeling something as fragile as need. But the ancient prophecy carved into the walls of his castle speaks of a fated bond — a mortal woman who will either complete him or destroy him. He wants neither. Her name is Nora Delacroix. On paper, she is unremarkable. A freelance archivist with a secondhand coat, ink-stained fingers, and a talent for disappearing into crowds. She takes temp jobs to pay her bills, keeps no close friends, and prefers the company of old books to people. She smiles at strangers and never lets them see past it. But Nora has a secret identity — one she has guarded since the age of seventeen. A ghost name. A blade in the dark. What happens when the Lord of the Nightfall Court crosses paths with the one mortal the shadow world has been hunting for years? What will Damien do when the universe names a quiet, glasses-wearing archivist as his fated bond? And what will Nora do when her new assignment — cataloguing the private library of one Damien Voss Callahan — puts her directly inside the most dangerous court in existence?

Beastiary's Theory Of Evolution

The Beastiary's Theory Of Evolution states "All Trash Creatures Perish For The Sake Of The Higher Ones, All Trash Creatures Serve The Higher Ones, All Trash Creatures Needs To Evolve To Survive." A THEORY that is believed of different races throughout the land of Ouroboros throughout the thousands of years the world has existed. Creatures of different kinds worshipped the Great Beastiary, believed the Great Beastiary, and idolized the Great Beastiary. That was how the world of Ouroboros existed... Until a Pale-Mantle Manul broke the rule. After experiencing an impossible murder case and was henceforth suspected as the murderer of his Master, three years later after the "murder" broke out, he was sent into a Locked Room where he would need to stay until he dies. That was how Locked Rooms are; prisons where prisoners are sent to... —With the exception of the Pale-Mantle Manul. Throughout this literature, you will follow the Pale-Mantle Manul as he traverses this corrupted world of Ouroboros, ruled by the Crown. He will explore different Locked Rooms, uncover the secrets of these Locked Rooms, and unveil the history of them. However, you will have to go through all of these with different kinds of tragedies and heartwarming moments happening along the road. Especially, a slight pinch of romance in the story. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- What to expect: - A unique and new power system based around Pokemon's evolution and Kit-based power system. - A new world that isn't just a globe with different geographies. The world is a circular serpent swallowing itself through different time periods. - Well written characters that aren't just one note. They all have their own motivations with their actions. They are flawed too. Especially the mc. Suprising right? - The main plot is about the unsolvable murder case. However, the story takes breaks from that sometimes. - Another interesting aspect is that mythology is an important aspect. Yes, the ancient mythology. Since, spoiler (well not really), one of the main character is transmigrated from Earth, which she will have an important role with uncovering the truth about these Locked Rooms. Some important Ancient Creatures (or what I call Divine Threads) are based off Mythological Creatures. - The romance is the best aspect. I'm not joking. You'll see. - I personally don't like plain character designs, so most of the important characters in the story will have some of the most beautiful character designs you'll read about. And yes, it's not only for aesthetic. It can impact their fighting styles and especially personality. - When you're reading it, don't expect it to end in a hundred chapters, or even two hundred. I'm planning this story to have atleast a thousand chapters or more. So, when you're reading, try to think in a larger scale. - Lastly, this story wasn't written to be perfect. I hate it when a story is too fast paced that there's barely enough time for me to have relationship/understanding with the main characters. This story can be slow, but each chapter will still push the plot forward. - I forgot to mention this. But the main theme of the story is your own WORTH. In this current time, with wars happening left and right, corruption taking money from different people, and the evil growing larger than the good... It's what motivated me to continue this story. The Ending Reader

A black coat draped over a white shirt, stained in dark, uneven patches that had yet to dry. Black trousers followed the same muted tone, blending him into the night as though he belonged to it more than the world around him. His hair was black, unremarkable at a glance, yet his eyes—sharp, brown, and unwavering—carried a quiet weight. Not exhaustion of the body, but something deeper, something that had settled within him long before this moment. Blood marked his clothes. Fresh enough to glisten faintly beneath the dim light, yet old enough to cling stubbornly, refusing to fade. The road remained silent. No footsteps but his own disturbed the stillness. No distant engines, no whisper of wind—nothing. Only a single street lamp stood above, casting a weak, yellow glow that felt… insufficient, as though it illuminated less than it should, leaving parts of the world just slightly beyond reach. And in that dim light— Something about the scene felt incomplete. Then, without warning, the streetlight flickered. Once. Then twice. Then irregularly, as though something unseen had begun interfering with its rhythm. The shadows shifted with it—but not entirely in sync. A fraction too slow. A fraction too late. Healer's Touch is a fantasy novel flavoured with a wild west setting, steampunk-like technology, enough romance to draw you in, horror to keep you hooked, and just enough sex to keep things spicy. The Deadly Touch Series: Healer's Touch Warrior's Touch Magician's Touch *May count as Romantasy, but the spice is pretty middling. Goes into dark themes, including torture & rape, but never between the main couple. The first chapters are brutal, but I had to start Llew off somewhere …
